Legally Blue Bio
Legally Blue is an electrifying blues band that stands out in the genre with its dynamic blend of traditional and contemporary influences. This five-member ensemble is known for its deep-rooted blues authenticity and innovative arrangements, making each performance a memorable experience.
Cheryl Scales takes the spotlight as the lead vocalist, her voice rich and soulful, capturing the raw emotion of the blues with every note. Her commanding stage presence and heartfelt delivery make her a force to be reckoned with, drawing audiences in with her powerful and evocative performances.
On lead guitar, Aart De Geus brings a mix of technical prowess and passionate improvisation. His solos are both fiery and intricate, adding a layer of intensity and excitement to the band's sound. Aart's ability to seamlessly blend classic blues riffs with modern twists sets Legally Blue apart from the crowd.
Pamela Charlles Arthur, handles keys/B3 organ and backing vocals, adding a lush, melodic texture to the band's music. Her keyboard work ranges from smooth, jazzy undertones to vibrant, energetic solos, complementing Cheryl’s vocals and enhancing the overall sound. Pamela’s harmonies also provide a rich layer of depth, creating a compelling vocal blend with Cheryl.
Bill Norwood , will share the lead vocal spotlight with Cheryl Scales bringing a new soulful feel to the band. Bill has a long history of playing drums and singing lead vocals for many of the noteable groups in the bay area.
Todd Wilder holds down the rhythm section on drums and contributes his own vocal talent. His drumming is both solid and inventive, driving the band’s groove with a mix of traditional rhythms and modern flair. Todd's versatility allows him to switch seamlessly between genre's, adding a dynamic element to Legally Blue’s performances.
Rounding out the group is Jeff Moles on bass, whose deep grooves and rhythmic precision anchor the band’s sound. Jeff’s bass lines are both smooth and assertive, providing a strong foundation for the band’s music while also offering moments of melodic exploration.
